Our Story
It all started in 1985 when Richard Chase, a movie producer tried to open a fine dining restaurant and suffered a collapsed support wall. He took advantage of a deal offered by a local realtor and opened the first Dick's Last Resort (as it was for him). The fine dining establishment eventually opened and failed, while Dick's Last Resort has been shocking Dallas for over 25 years!
In 2010, Dick's Dallas was purchased by long time executive Mike McRae and was later joined by his partner Gabe Nicolella.
In the last 8 years Mike and Gabe have taken over the management of multiple establishments including Dodie's Cajun Diner in Rockwall, Stan's Blue Note (the oldest operating bar in Dallas), and The Cajun Place in Allen. They also created the concept and opened Table 13, a fine dining restaurant, in Addison.
